Big tippers with somebody else's money
BEVERLY, Mass., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- A waiter at a Bermuda hotel has been awarded a full scholarship to a Beverly, Mass., college after vacationing officials were impressed by his service.
Lynn Bak, who coordinates the Endicott College School of International Education in Bermuda, recommended Endicott President Richard Wylie consider Marvin Burchall, 23, for a full scholarship to the school -- worth $34,000 per year -- after sitting in Burchall's section at the Elbow Beach Bermuda resort restaurant, the Boston Globe reported Monday.
