More nutty burglars

Over the past week, burglars have run rampant in one East Lake neighborhood, but now they have gone too far.

"I'm just so sick of it and tired of it," said William Roper. "I'm not gonna take it anymore."

The bad guys got his house on 34th Street Sunday night. They took guns, money, jewelry, even the lighted top off a fish tank. But,that is not all. "My underwear. They stole my underwear," he admits.

It gets worse. Crooks also took Rainbow, Roper's Amazon parrot. "The shotguns, the change, the jewelry, I don't want any of that back. I want my bird back," said Roper. "That bird we've had for 12 years. It's like a member of the family and it's just crazy that anyone would want to steal that."
