Parrot eats false leg
HE nibbled it, he tossed it aside, he hung from the top of his cage and looked at it, and then... he ate it.
But one-legged parrot George showed little initial interest in putting his stump into his newly-made `false leg'.
Being the nuttiest of news from around the world, now with added nuts!

"Since I have had him it has upset me to think that he is disabled," said Sheila, 55 [...]"
George (the parrot), luckily, does not think of himself as disabled.
Give everyone involved (except for George) a Stupid Sign. Of course he chewed up the fake leg, as far as he's concerned it's just a nifty new toy. Parrots love toys they can chew.
"Sheila will be able to help him put it in position and once George realises that his legs are being supported he will do it again and again and again."
He will chew the fake leg again and again. All they have to do is to give him a petite shelf thingy to roost on. Most parrots sleep with one leg drawn up a lot anyway. If he's fallin' over, George has got a different problem.
At least he's got a neat new toy.
