May Contain Knut

The problem with cubs is that they grow up to be bears.

Knut, Berlin's famous polar bear, had his first birthday party today and about 700 visitors from all over Germany flocked to the zoo to join in.

The bear they came to see was no longer the cuddly little teddy bear romping with a soccer ball, but a 245-pound eating machine. [source]

This reporter is confused about the cake. The photo caption says Knut celebrated with a cake made of "300 eggs and 20 pounds of marzipan," while the article states that Knut was given a "birthday cake made of boiled rice, bananas and raisins." So are they talking about two different cakes, or the same cake? We here at MCN encourage clear and precise reportage of cake-related events.
