BERKELEY, Calif., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- U.S. academics bored with fiduciary ethics and in-group bias scramble up their ivory towers to examine the delicate social effect of poking someone on Facebook.
Cornell, the University of Michigan and the Rochester Institute of Technology all secured grants to carve out their academic foray into social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook, The Washington Post reported Sunday.
